Avoid Blogging & Vlogging Convolution

While doing my daily research I found another issue I think would fellow writers and vloggers.

Convoluted Series

I understand as a person to prove your credibility. working on my previous post on blogging better this is focused on losing the reader while building credibility.

If you are using words that need an explanation that has words that need further explanation, then swap that out for words that everyone can understand. This is typical a journalism rule. This may hurt the ability to appear smarter than your reader but it may increase retention and build your following.

Stories and examples

I am currently listening to a 16 minute video on how to focus. On the seventh minute, “Why is this important?” If I had problems focusing there is no way I would have made it seven minutes into the video.

Go about them as Confucius would, keep it short and sweet.

“It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.” Confucius

Great words to live by but you know if your message is slow most will stop reading. You may not stop reading but others will.

Give your reasons at the top then at the bottom add an explanation section. This is where you will win back your credibility. give them the works as a reward to the true scholars seeking knowledge. Don’t kill off all the writers by focusing on scholars by adding too much info but don’t forget the scholars at the end who would read the entire article anyway.

Full Series

Give the highlights then give others an option to dive deeper on another page with more diagrams, videos and interviews. Make sure it’s very visible with a preview to show you actually have more.

This will give your site more diving depth and not have every post as a “landing page.” The goal is to keep people on your page as long as social media. If that can happen you made it as an artist.

  1. I used to be recommended this blog by way of
my cousin. I’m not positive whether or not this submit is written via him as
no one else know such special about my difficulty. You’re incredible!
